Jessica Cernat was born and raised deep down south in Florida “where catfish is a dinner staple and the girls and the oranges are just a little sweeter.” She decided that she wanted to explore more of the countryside and eventually ended up curling up in a quaint little town she calls “home sweet home” in Frisco, Texas. Jessica loves the south, sweet tea, the city and hot pink heels.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live and grow both personally and professionally.”
Photography stole her heart 12 years ago. She always knew she wanted to create and capture images for a living.
“I always heard that you can make a living doing what you love, now I’m a believer!”
She went to a seminar once to hear Jasmine Star speak and Jasmine said, “I’d rather fail at something that I love, than succeed at something that I hate”. This quote resonated through Jessica and has always motivated her to pursue her dream even if it’s in small steps.
“The best way to describe my passion for wedding photography is that ‘I fell in love with love.’ I feel totally fulfilled when I capture the most intimate moments on a couple’s wedding day. The profound pleasure and pride I get from knowing that my couples will remember their day forever is indescribable. I am able to live up to God’s will for my life and what he has planned for me through photography.”
Jessica says she feels very fortunate to get to work with some of “the most amazing people imaginable.”
“The couples that I work with are not only clients, but they have become great friends as well! They have challenged me and encouraged me to open up my box of creativity! I am eager to continue this photographic journey that is my life!”
