Wedding photography is an unique art. The photographer is not only tasked with capturing something beautiful, but also with capturing the story of a couple. Because there are only so many ways you can take a photo of the same events – the dress, the father of the bride, the vows, etc. – photographers have to get creative with the way they present the story.

 

One technique that is currently trending in wedding photography is the pairing of two photos together. I love it because of the parallels it has with the event of marriage. Two photos, independently beautiful on their own, are brought together to have new, more profound meaning. They become “married,” so to speak.
