Extraordinary landscapes are not so common in nowadays, everybody grabs an iPhone or a cheap camera and takes a landscape photo although it is not good enough. To capture an extraordinary landscape photograph you need to have technic, good equipment and imagination. Today we feature Raphael Oliver which is a freelance editorial and corporate photographer based in Shanghai, China. He specializes in portraits, architecture, industrial and corporate photography, social documentary and travel stories.
He is represented in Asia by the photography agency NOI Pictures and a co-founder of the art collective Almaz. His work has been published in Shanghai Talk, Time Out, Public Affairs Asia, Southeast Asia Globe, The Word Vietnam, Travel Live Southeast Asia, East & West, NMA mag and more. His commercial clients include Renault, Castel, ThyssenKrupp, Dow Chemical, Mhe-Demag, Bamboo Factory, the French Embassy in Vietnam, Hilton, Ipa-Nima, the National Art Gallery of Malaysia and others. He is available for assignments in Shanghai and all around China and Southeast Asia.
